November '23 -Quantling-Media is a network of filmmakers and computer professionals. Now the network is to enter the market as a film service provider.go.

App development, film production, set and prop construction - these are the main business areas in which Quantling-Media would like to be active in the future. “Without our network, this wouldn’t work,” says prospective partner and managing director Volkmar Koch. For many years he worked for large IT service providers and film productions in various specialist areas. At the same time, he built up his film network, developed his own film material and played a key role in numerous film projects in the independent film scene. 

 

An apartment in his commercial building becomes available at the beginning of December. In the future, it will not only serve as a production office, studio and workshop, but also as a backdrop for the company's first animated film. The filmmaker uses a mixture of stop motion, puppetry and VFX. If he had his way, work could begin as early as January. "The puppet speakers have been cast, the puppets are in the final stages of completion, the sets are under construction and the marketing plan is in place. The time is ripe," said the 42-year-old.
